This week's Update: It's been a crazy one!

Friday, July 22, 2016

Hi guys. It Friday! YAY!! I hope you have a great weekend. It's beautiful out today and nice and warm. Perfect! I want to start doing weekly updates on Friday. I have one more blog to posts about my July Favorites. It's going to be lovely! Keep your eyes peeled for those! I'm getting excited for school to get started for the little ones. Orientation starts in early August. This has been one long summer. I have been working from June to August dealing kids all day. OH GOODY! * Being sarcastic* I admit I love my job but when the person who is ahead of all the teachers is not running everything smoothly; everything tends to fall apart. Its been like that since summer camp started. I learned to cope and vent to the other teachers and they feel the same way. I'm not going to get in depth with that subject. I m slowing trying to get back into blogging. Its relaxing to me but work and other things have grabbed my attention.

Some Changes Are Taking Place:

I haven't been in school for a year now. I wanted to take a step and just finish my degree for Business Administration. I decided to go to ITT Technical School. I went in and toured the school and see if I can get some money for school. They offered me a scholarship! I'm soo... excited to start school and be my own person. The school is for me in every way. I know it's going to be hard long road but I'm ready to get my degree. I know I'm late but better late than never. It's going take me a couple years for me to finish the degree. So I'm running through so many hoops to get everything situated and perfect.

Whats going on?

Everyday is always crazy at work but this week is the craziest. Monday like usual because we don't go anywhere. Tuesday We went to the skating park and everything was going good. I stuffed my face with corn dogs and with the delicious  Dip'n' Dots. They have a skating ring, Arcade and a playground for the kids who won't bother to learn to skate. I was being greedy eating and watching the kids play aggressively on the playground. I heard someone screaming " Help I'm stuck!" I finished my corn dog of course and I ran to the arcade section of the skating rink. It was one of the students who has a hard time listening and he has those urges to do bad things. I have urges too to just speak my mind and just smack and give them the middle finger to someone when they cross me the wrong way. * I had a bad attitude when I was a teenager. If you can't tell* He does things on an impulse. I monitored him for months to prov my theory. His one weakness is this one girl he is constantly around, He is a gentleman when he hangs around her. He pays for a her food and pushed the chair out for her. He is only going to 1st grade!! I find it sweet.

Well he got his hand stuck in a machine. His hand was sucked up further and further up the machine. He was thing to win a plushy toy for the little girl. Well he got himself in a sticky situation. We immediately asked the authorities to get him out. They couldn't do a thing for him. So we called the fire department and ambulance because he said his hand was getting numb. We was scared that he was losing his arm. The fire department came and his mother came screaming " My baby!" Ok no not really. I'm just being dramatic. My life is a little boring so I tend to get over dramatic about people's reactions. She was worried but cool , calm and collected like a cucumber. The kid happened to know the chief. He was a family friend. What are the chances. He had to get a medium chainsaw. The kid was bawling because he thought he was going to lose his arm. I was watching and thinking " You poor baby." I just wanted to swoop him and give him a big hug and stroke is hair for comfort. Everyone standing there as time is going by helplessly looking at him and hours passed by. We finally got out him out the machine. Yess! I hugged him and asked him if he had learned his lesson. He whimpers yes. His mother bought him a Slurpee and went on her way. He gains the attention from me and other teachers for the rest of the day and you know what? He was being bad for the rest of the day. WOW! He did not learn his lesson. He got himself into more trouble. Kids will be kids.

On the second part of the field trip we went to a teen club call Chillax. It's a nice place with a snack bar, movie section dance floor and other fun things to do. I get off the bus with the kids and I need to be the line leader so the kids wont go astray because there is three to four lane road next to it. It could be so easy to just veer off and get hit. So we have a couple older kids. They are bossy! They even try to override the teachers and tell the kids to do what they say. Sometimes I get them straight and say I get paid and I'm older. You are not old enough to be telling kids what to do. I admit, I was like that when I was younger but I have grown out of that phase. * Not completely though*  We go to door and I told them to stop. One of the older kids did not listen. The other kids followed them in the building. I screamed STOP! They kept going. Some stopped but the rest went through. They were not listening to me!! I was beyond angry. we sat down on the stairs to go over the rules. As I was about to talk one of the older kids interrupted me and just took over the whole conversation. I''m like what the heck! * Oh NO SHE DID'T!!* I was thinking " You need to sit your prissy butt on the stairs like the with the rest of the kids!!" These kids now a days want to act so grown. My rebuttal to that was that they are not your teachers. They are little kids like you, I said to them don't come to them for help. Come to me or my other coworker. I was livid. How dare you! The rest f the day I gave them a stern look and put them in their places immediately  They were sad sitting there with a weird look when  I told them off.

Thursday I had to go to work at 1 o'clock. The kids supposed to be back at 1:15 and no one to be found. So I texted one of my co-workers. she never answered. One of the other co-workers came and she was already pissed. She asked me for the key to the building. I recently switched my purse when I went to panama City Beach last weekend. Which was amazing!! I had a good time. I will have more information and pictures below. I didn't have my keys to the building. So we where standing there in the rain waiting. It wasn't pouring to bad but still it's not good being in the rain. About 30 minutes passed and we were both pissed. They were late and no one  answered their phones to let us know they are going to be late. They finally show up at 2 o'clock. We being wet  and bother. We both gave her that look. The look when you really want to lash out but you don't want to start and argument. We were being distant from her. So we saw her ans she asked both of us" How are you doing?" I wanted to yell horrible! And scream in her face and say I'm soaking wet waited for your a**! Unlike usual I kept my mouth shut and bottled my emotions. I was pissed the entire day. She wanted us to do all these extravagant classes for the kids with a dollar store budget. Most of the time I have to buy the material. It's a shame. I went shopping earlier to get supplies for my room. *SMH* Majority of the kids want to play with their electronics all day. NOPE! Only twice they can do that. To be honest it keeps them out of trouble and occupied. So suggested a race car class. So we all played our electronics instead. I don't get paid enough to come up with fun classes. It cost more money. We already have parent a lot of money to have them here. If they knew that  we sit them in from of the TV all day they will have a fit. I went of subject. It happens. So I was not having it all day. The kids was crazy all day.

Yay! It's finally Friday! Today went swimming and everything was fine and I had left a key for one my co workers so she won't get locked out again like last time.We were a little late and I texted her details. * sigh of relief* What a perfect Friday. No mishaps or anything to be angry about. I was just about to clock out. We have a special needs kid that we have to have a eye on constantly. There was not trouble out of him today, which is not true. Before we got to school I asked him if he had to use the restroom he said no. When we get to school. He poops in from of the bus!! He swats and poops for a little while. All the kids run outside to see and they were surprised. The freaking bathroom was two inched away from the door!! I could not believe it. Okay I did because he is has special needs. I was flabbergasted and it smelled all the way inside the room. We told him to go wash his hands. I asked one of the girls to check up on him. I heard screams. He pooped in the trashcan and pooped in the sink! WTF!!! I'm done. I told the other coworkers good luck. I clocked out! I'm DONE with this crazy behind week.

I just wanna pack my stuff and leave! This is how I feel. YESSS cookie!
